The track feels expansive and intimate at once, pairing Ella’s visceral lyricism with a refined, emotive production that leans into atmosphere and restraint. “This song is about feeling like a little kid in an adult’s world. You’re just trying to exist, splash around in the ocean and ride your bike by the beach, but your phone keeps dinging and it’s not cute messages, it’s bills & BS,” Ella explains.
